2019: Developing Digital Skills
Albanian Institute of Science (AIS) has been the partner for the campaign since 2012. In 2019, it will be the ALL DIGITAL Week Albanian partner for the eighth time.
For the 2019 campaign, AIS will focus on engaging youth in developing digital skills to increase their opportunities of employment in new digital jobs. AIS will organize meetings and workshops with students from Ismail Qemali High School, Kurbini High Schools (4), Lezha Vocational School and World Vision Albania. The aim of these meetings and workshop is to let the students know how they can gain digital skills in the English and Albanian languages. AIS will use the ALL DIGITAL Week also to promote the first Albanian Language MOOC platform. Another very important aim of this meetings and workshops will be the Internet safety.

- Kurbini Muncipality High Schools based on Lac, Mamurras, Milot and Gore. This is a not very developed area;
- Lezha Vocational School has a Computer Science profile and is working in different projects to engage and give more opportunities to their students
- World Vision Albania – a worldwide organization branch, working with children and youngsters all over Albania
AIS, with support of its eight partners, will engage 400 participants in the ALL DIGITAL Week activities.

2018: Get Online for a Better Future!
Albanian Institute of Science (AIS) has been the national partner for the campaign since 2012. In 2018, it will be the ALL DIGITAL Week Albanian national partner for the seventh time.

- CSDC Durres – Civil Society Development Center Durres working with children, teens and young adults, training them, offering free courses and engaging them in different activities
- Protik Innovation Center – the first innovation center in Albania
- Garazh Community – ICT students Community.
Activities
In 2018, AIS will focus on the evolvement of the young people in using the Internet in the most efficient way. Again they will organize meetings with students of Ismail Qemali High School. This year the meetings will target first year students to show them what skills they need to have their dream job or the possibilities that digital jobs offer on today’s jobs market. Also AIS will organize a workshop with children and high school students that are part of World Vision Albania and CSDC Durres. The aim of these workshops is to show youngsters the power of the Internet and how they could be safe using it. In the meeting with ICT students part of Garazh and Protik Garazh and Protik Innovation Center communities AIS will discuss eServices and how to encourage the Albanian Government to offer more eServices, as it is still very new in Albania.
Promotion
AIS will use their online media channels to share the information and details of the campaign and events. They will also use their strong connection with traditional media (TV & Radio ) and their partners to present the campaign. E.g., World Vision is an organization working on the national level and will be instrumental in the promotion.
AIS, with support of its partners, will engage 1,000 participants in the ALL DIGITAL Week activities.

Activities
in 2017, AIS planned to focus on empowering young people to use the Internet in the most efficient way. They involved 200 people in the GOW17 events:
Cybersecurity: AIS organized a workshop with children and young high school students, who are part of World Vision Albania. The aim of this workshop was to show youngsters the power of the Interent and how they could be safe using it. Showing them some of the main risks they can have using Internet and how they can protect themselves from being a victim of Internet lack of safety. Protecting personal data was again one of the main focuses.
e-Services: AIS organized a meeting with ICT students in Albania, who are part of Garazh and Protik innovation center communities, to collect some ideas how can we improve this eServices in Albania and how to encourage government offer more eServices. Also at the meetings and workshop AIS showed the benefits from using this eServices.
Employment and Entrepreneurship: The main focus in past years during GOW activities in Albania was to present possibilities that technology and digital skills can offer people in the job market. In 2017, the focus was on young high school students that were going to choose what university to attend. AIS organized some meetings with last year students of Ismail Qemali High School to show them the benefits of having good digital skills in the most of the today’s career profiles and also to encourage them to specialize in ICT and Computer Sciences.

GOW16 Commitments and Activities
Under the topic of trust and confidence, AIS ran a workshop with Youth Organization on the use of Internet. The aim of this workshop was to educate organizations and young people about the power of Internet and how they could use it in a safe way also protecting their personal data.
Under the topic of digital jobs, AIS invited high school students from different districts of Albania to a presentation about digital jobs. Platforms as HP Life, Skillage and YouRock were presented to students. Also a presentation on other platforms that offer training opportunities in online social networks (Facebook, Twitter and Website6Newsletter) of AIS and other programs were discussed with participants.
AIS was planning to get in touch with the national media (TV and newspapers) about youth empowerment through online programs and the safe use of Internet.
