Short description of the event:
The project will foster the engagement of everyone who plays a role in creating a better Internet for everyone, especially the youngest users. Moreover, it is an invitation to everyone to communicate online in order to provide a better digital experience. The project will enable young people of the 21st century to get information on digital rules, rights and responsibilities in the global network, advice on how to be safe online and have a positive impact on the world community. The project aims to make children aware of their responsibility while working on the Internet. Students will understand the term digital citizenship and what it means in their context. They will learn the digital rules of etiquette, will make conscious efforts to practice and share them with their friends and relatives. Also, students will find out about e-security by learning about common web threats, such as computer viruses (spyware, malware, adware, phishing, etc.) and web issues such as copying laws, Internet bullying and plagiarism, etc.
