2019:
The ALL DIGITAL Week 2019 in Latvia was coordinated by the Latvian Information and Communication technology association (LIKTA) together with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development (VARAM), in cooperation with the general partners Microsoft Latvia, the Latvian State Radio and Television Centre and the Culture Information Systems Centre.
During ALL DIGITAL Week 2019, more than 28,500 Latvian citizens throughout the country acquired new digital skills and explored opportunities provided by digital technologies. Latvia has been one of the most active participants of the European ALL DIGITAL Week for the tenth consecutive year.
In Latvia, 202 cities, municipalities and parishes were actively involved in organising events. In total, citizens and entrepreneurs were able to participate in 600 face to face events provided by nearly 300 partners: ministries, state agencies, businesses, banks, schools and universities, libraries, municipal authorities and non-governmental organisations.
Each day of the campaign in Latvia was devoted to a specific topic:
- Monday, March 25 – Official Opening event “Smart Latvia – Digital transformation of society, state and enterprises“
- Tuesday, March 26 – “Digital by default“
- Wednesday, March 27 – “ICT Professionals Day“
- Thursday, March 28 – “E-identity day“ and “Cybernight 2019“
- Friday, March 29 – “Digital Skills for Future Digital Work“
The highlight of the campaign was Friday, 29 March “Digital Skills for Future Digital Work”. The day was particularly targeting young people (aged 12-19) to promote ICT careers and digital jobs. The competition “Digital skills for my future job“ organized by LIKTA, Microsoft Latvia and Latvian ICT Cluster was promoted and activities took place at schools and digital competence centers around Latvia. Young people had the chance to meet inspirational speakers from different ICT industry sectors, as well as participate in practical workshops and create their visions for the future ICT professions.

Over 3 mln people were reached with promotional activities. Over 800 social media posts, 100 web publications and 90 traditional media instances were tracked; there were more than 15,000 views of the www.eprasmes.lv home page.

2018 REPORT:
ALL DIGITAL Week in Latvia focused on joint digital skills and services promotion campaign organized by National Digital skills Coalition in Latvia together with other partners
In Latvia, ALL DIGITAL Week 2018 was coordinated by Latvian Information and Communication technology association (LIKTA) and Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of Latvia and other National Digital Coalition partners as well as the Digital Champion of Latvia Mr Reinis Zitmanis.
Each day of the campaign had its special focus :
- Day 1 : High level opening, “Digital skills for SMART Citizen in SMART country “
- Day 2 : Cybersecurity Day and Night
- Day 3 : Digital skills for my future job
- Day 4 : ICT professinals day
- Day 5 : Media Literacy and critical thinking
524 dedicated events were organized f2f in 161 cities, towns and villages of Latvia . Over 24,000 citizens directly participated, over 3,6 million were reached by the media.
The campaign was organised under the motto “Smart Latvia” and “Digital by default”. The most important fwas the massive commitment and involvement of the different partners. Starting from Prime Minister of Latvia Maris Kučinskis and going to smallest grassroot organizations – regional libraries, schools, and municipalities.
Latvian Digital Champion Reinis Zitmanis stated that the campaign was a real “Digital festival“.

In Latvia, ALL DIGITAL Week 2018 was coordinated by Latvian Information and Communication technology association (LIKTA) and Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of Latvia. Both organizations have cooperated in organization of the campaigns since 2010.
LIKTA worked with National Digital Skills Coalition partners in Latvia. Several Ministries, State agencies and leading ICT companies were involved. They also involved regional municipalities, libraries, schools and digital competence centres across Latvia.

With all the efforts, LIKTA and its 20 partners planned to engage 8,000 users in the ALL DIGITAL Week 2018 activities in Latvia.

2017: Digital by default – ICT industry, public sector, and NGO partners join efforts to ensure that all Latvian citizens and SMEs have the right digital skills to apply technologies and use services.
A partner since the start of the campaign in 2010, the Latvian Information and Communications Technology Association (LIKTA) was again the Latvian national partner for Get Online Week 2017.
The major co-organizer of the campaign in Latvia together vith LIKTA was the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development. The other national partners were Library network, Ministry of Education, State Employments Agency. There were also the regional partners (municipalities, adult education centers, NGOs ) and ICT companies, all together 300 partner organizations.
The campaign was promoted through the special dedicated website www.eprasmes.lv; public call for national and regional partners in early January; newsletters and e-mail campaigns.
The following main events and activities were planned for the GOW17 in Latvia:
1. March 27 – High level opening event of national Digital coalition in Latvia;
Event for youth – Digital skills for my future digital jobs
2. March 28 – ICT security day: workshops, webinars, tests, trainings
3. Digital skills for SME s
4. Promotion of digital competences for employment and Self evaluation tests regarding DIGCOMP competences (online)
5. Introduction of new e-services with accent on mobile applications
Specifically, on the topic of Cybersecurity:

- self-evaluation tests
- awereness raising – infographic
On e-Services:
- promotion of the latest public and private e-services
- infographics about mobile applications of e-services
- workshops and webinars
On Employment and Entrepreneurship:
- at the opening event 4 job profiles for young people will be presented
- webinars for digital skills for SMEs
- digital career promotion for young people
With all the efforts, LIKTA and its partners planned to engage 10,000 users in the GOW17 activities in Latvia.

Overview of commitments and activities for GOW16
The Latvian Information and Communications Technology Association (LIKTA) has been a partner since the start of the campaign in 2010. In 2016, it was the Latvian national partner for GOW again.
During the campaign week, LIKTA implemented the following activities on Internet security and basic ICT skills:
- Campaign “Check how safe is your IP address” together with CERT.LV
- Campaign “Take the security quiz” together with all partners of the Cybersecurity Council of Latvia targeting IT students, latest grade students at high schools, and SMEs
- Online4edu Barometer tests for teachers and e-facilitators
- Introducing different identification tools, including secure electronic signature
Employability related activities:
- YouRock profile campaign
- Digital marketing training for SMEs
- ICT career days
- Training on e-commerce skills
LIKTA was planning to involve some 40 national partners and about 80-100 regional coordinators from local municipalities.
